Steps involved in the slaughter and cleaning of offals.

Process

Step 1:  Livestock Producers must bring their livestock to the abattoir for slaughter.

Step 2:  The livestock will be weighed, the weight will be recorded and a form will be issued to the livestock producer.  (This forms serves as record for the weight of the animal and the calculation of slaughter fees).

Step 3:  Animals will be slaughtered in a clean, humane and hygienic manner and the feet, belly and heads are cleaned for the producer.
