Highlights from the Press Conference on January 8th for the Response on the Fifth Quarterly Review Implementation of the Commission of Inquiry Recommendations

Premier and Minister of Finance with responsibility for Lands, Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley and a team from the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change met with residents of North Sound Virgin Gorda on Thursday, January 4, as public consultations continue on the Virgin Islands Crown Land Policy.

The website to track the implementation of the Commission of Inquiry (COI) recommendations was launched today on the Government programme ‘Table Talk’.

Chief Fire Officer Mr. Zebalon McLean and Owner of V.I Motors Mr. Allan Parker are captured with Parts Manager Allan Abel and Station Officers Tyrone Caddle, Melvin Jeffers and Eugene Freeman as three Honda EG2800i Generators were gifted to the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Service from V.I Motors.

Minister for Communications and Works, Honourable Kye M. Rymer was present to welcome the 20 aircrafts on their arrival at the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island as part of the Caribbean Air Rally on December 6.

The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) in collaboration with the Tortola Pier Park Ltd, British Virgin Islands Tourist Board (BVITB) and local ship agent Island Shipping Trading Co. Ltd, commemorated the inaugural arrival of Norwegian’s first of five Prima-Class Ships, PR1MA with a plaque exchange ceremony.
