New temporary employees of the BVI Health Services Authority are featured on August 26 during a training session to assist with Antigen Testing on Virgin Gorda.
14 companies have submitted Expressions of Interest (EOI) indicating their qualifications and experience to participate in the tender process to construct new classrooms at the Elmore Stoutt High School.
The companies will now be shortlisted and the top seven will be asked to submit tenders for the construction of the classrooms.
The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) is commited to support the Government of the Virgin Islands and the Ministry of Education in creating the much-needed space to accommodate students by April 2022.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie, Deputy Premier, Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture and District Seven (7) Representative, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley and newly appointed Ministerial Advisor in the Premier’s Office, Mr. Kevin C. Smith are featured on August 9 as they witnessed the commencement of works on the East End Long Look Sewerage Project at Parqaquita Bay.

The Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities (MTWU) has received control of the Water Reservoirs at Carrot Bay from the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA). Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation Works and Utilities (MTWU), Mr. Ronald Smith-Berkeley signed on behalf of the ministry during a handover ceremony at the reservoir grounds in Carrot Bay on Tuesday, June 15.
Officers from the Joint Task Force completed a virtual three-day Royal Navy International Maritime Training organised through the Governor Office’s via the United Kingdom’s interest in offering training to the officers. The training covered topics including: Maritime Law/Rights to Board, Phases of Boarding, Personnel Search and Evidence Awareness.
