Premier Honourable Dr Natalio Wheatley has reacted to today’s publication of the Mutual Evaluation Report (Report) of the Virgin Islands by the Caribbean Financial Action Task Force (CFATF).

The Government has welcomed the Report and confirmed that it is committed to rigorously implementing its recommendations, as laid out in the National Action Plan, also published today. This implementation process will be observed by the CFATF through its follow-up process.

Madam Speaker, the Ministry of Health and Social Development and the Department of Waste Management are diligently working towards our long terms goals in the area waste management for this Territory, and it gives me great pleasure to inform this Honourable House that new equipment to process glass waste collected through our WE RECYCLE Programme is operational at Pockwood Pond.

His Excellency, the Governor Daniel Pruce, chaired the meeting held on 31st January, 2024 at the Premier's Conference Room.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is seeking a qualified Barrister-at-law to serve as Member and Chairperson on the Social Security Board Appeals Tribunal

The National Security Council (NSC) met today to consider the implications of recent security incidents. The NSC expressed its thoughts for all those affected.
