Persons and entities who have obtained a Temporary Liquor Licence from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force to sell liquor at specific events are asked to call 468-9831 on Monday, 25 July to make arrangements to have these licences signed off by the Magistracy.
The public is notified that the Road Town and Virgin Gorda offices of the Magistrate’s Court will close on Friday, July 22 and Monday, July 25 to facilitate the training of officers.

Businesses and persons who made applications to the Magistrate’s Court to renew liquor licences during the June 1 sitting are notified that payments can now be made at the Inland Revenue Department.
The public is advised that the Licencing Magistrate will hold a special sitting for the hearing and determining of applications for licences for the sale of intoxicating liquor on Thursday, June 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the Magistrate’s Court in John’s Hole.
The successful applicant will assist with frontline and/or courier duties to ensure professional customer service is provided to the Ministry/Department and public at all times.
As we live and work with COVID-19 in the Territory, the public is advised that the Magistrate’s Court will not be conducting in-person hearings from January 10 to 24 in the first instance. Persons wishing to conduct business or inquire about the status of their case should contact 468-4360, 468-4367 or 468-3691.
Persons who have travelled outside the Territory within the last 14 days are advised not to visit the office and only customers making payments will be allowed in the building until further notice, providing that they do not exhibit COVID-19 symptoms.
