The Environmental Health Unit will be carrying out a round of fogging in the vicinity of Hodge’s Creek and Pasea beginning on Wednesday December 9 at 5:00 p.m.
Residents with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, should leave the areas being fogged for at least an hour. Residents are also reminded that fogging only provides temporary relief from the mosquitoes. Householders and property owners are urged to be vigilant in preventing mosquitoes from breeding in stagnant water around their homes and businesses. Inspections of premises should be done weekly.
