Bulletin
30 October 2017 - 4:22pm

The public is notified that fogging will continue tomorrow October 31 in locality 4 from Wickham’s Cay 1 to Prospect Reef, and on Virgin Gorda from the Copper Mine to the Valley.

Fogging will be done between 5:30 and 8:00 p.m. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthmatics, should leave the areas being fogged for at least an hour.

Residents are reminded that fogging provides temporary relief from mosquitoes. Householders and property owners are urged to continue to be vigilant and conduct weekly inspections around their homes and businesses to reduce mosquito breeding sites.

For further information on how to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito, telephone the Vector Control Unit of the Environmental Health Division at 852-7782.
