The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders to supply and install furniture and equipment to furnish the Cabinet Office, 3rd Level of the East Wing, Central Administration Complex.

Interested Tenderers must submit all the necessary documents to prove the proprietor is qualified and experienced in sourcing and installing office equipment in the Virgin Islands.

Director of Communications, Mrs. Arliene T. Penn said interested persons must also provide the Procurement Unit with proof certificates of good standing in respect to social security and taxes including payroll taxes and property taxes, social security fees, trade licence and National Health Insurance.

Mrs Penn added, “Tenderers will be required to provide a Tender Security from a bank or accredited Insurance company for a sum equivalent of 1 percent of the contract sum.”

Tender documents are available upon request from the Procurement Unit located at the RFG Place, Third Floor, Waterfront Drive.  Tender documents are available from Tuesday, March 14.          

A non-refundable fee of $100.00 payable by cash or bank cashier’s chequeis required for the tender documents.  Interested tenderers should submit one original and two copies of the tender and all tenders must be deposited in the tender box at the Procurement Unit no later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11.  Tenders will be publicly opened at the Procurement Unit on Tuesday, April 11 at noon and all Tenderers are invited to attend.
