UK Minister Mike Freer MP, from the Ministry of Justice, visited the BVI between Sunday 5 to Tuesday 7 November. The purpose of the visit was for the Minister to see first-hand the opportunities and challenges in the BVI justice system, and to identify areas for further partnership with the UK

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice, Mike Freer MP, arrived in the BVI on Sunday 5 November for a two day visit. His responsibilities include Courts and Legal services, and this includes the Overseas Territories.
The Registration Apprenticeship Training Employment and Development (RATED) Programme which exposes employment opportunities with a number of ministries and departments in the Public Service will mark its first anniversary on November 4.
Premier of the Virgin Islands Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley has said that his Government is embarking on a reporting initiative dubbed, “Government in Motion”, to provide updates to the public after being in office for just over six months.
