The Virgin Islands joins the rest of the Eastern Caribbean in mourning the passing of His Lordship the late Honourable Justice Albert Redhead.

An electronic portal that will facilitate the filing and management of court cases in the jurisdiction of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court will go live in mid-November.

The Magistrate’s Court is providing an alternate number for persons to contact the court for the re-scheduling of criminal matters which were postponed due to the passage of hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017. 

Saint Lucian native Shawn Innocent has been appointed as a full-time Magistrate for a period of six months with effect from September 3^rd.
