The Department of Culture regrets to inform the public that the scheduled exhibition event, "The Virgin Islands Outdoor Gallery of Art and Culture," originally planned for Monday, June 10, has been postponed. The event will now take place on Monday, June 17.
Junior Minister for Culture and Tourism Honourable Luce Hodge-Smith has said that there is a need for the building of a greater capacity in order to grow and develop heritage tourism in the Virgin Islands.

Local author and educator Mrs. Medita Malone Wheatley will be launching an edited book titled, “A Snapshot of the Virgin Islands Secondary School Under Principal Carlisle Scott”, British Virgin Islands” on Monday, May 6.
The public is reminded of the launch of the book titled, "Sharing a Fly Wing A Memoir of Growing Up on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands " by author Hildegarde Flax-Shaw on Saturday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Flax Administration Building conference room on Virgin Gorda.
