The Elmore Stoutt High School (ESHS) is hosting its 52^nd Annual Inter-House Track and Field Championships on 7^th and 8^th March, 2024.

The event commenced today with a march past from the ESHS school grounds, along the Fishlock Road onto the Blackburne Highway and ended at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Grounds with athletes and cheerleaders from four of the school’s houses, namely Lettsome, O’Neal, Flemming, and Carlisle.

Madam Speaker, it is with a profound sense of pride that I announce to this honourable house the declaration of March as Education Month in the territory. 

Madam Speaker, the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports has initiated the revision of the National Youth Policy. 

Educators from across the Territory are observing Education Month 2024 with several activities including a STEAMing Scavenger Hunt.

One Hundred and Forty-Three (143) teachers from across the Territory have completed the three-day Public Service 101 course, a key offering from the Virgin Islands Public Service Learning Institute.

Opposing team, St. Georges Secondary School are the winners in the Semi-final round of the 2024 Inter-Secondary School Debates.
