The Environmental Health Division is announcing the resumption of food handlers’ clinics for Anegada with the first clinic being held tomorrow, November 22.

Good day my fellow residents.  As we come to the end of this September, I give God thanks for his continued blessings on our lives.  As daunting as this month was for the Virgin Islands, I believe we still have much to be grateful for.

The Environmental Health Division is notifying the public that Sarbrett Beef Franks BS (8/1), EST/PLANT NUMBER 8854 is being recalled due to contamination by bone fragments and possibly other extraneous materials.

Food handlers and prospective vendors for the upcoming 2016 Old Year’s Party in Great Harbour Jost Van Dyke are urged to register for the event.

Owners and staff of food establishments in the Territory are building capacity in food safety management and best practices through a three-day “Certified ServSafe Food Safety Training and Certification Workshop.”

Food handlers participating in the festival activities are notified that exclusive food handler clinics will be held at the Training Division’s Conference Room in the Betteto Frett Building on July 12, 14, 20, 28 and 29. 

Food handlers and other persons in Virgin Gorda who will be participating in the Easter Festival are notified that Food Handlers’ Clinics will be held in preparation for this event.

The Environmental Health Division is reminding the public that changes have been made to the procedures of food handler clinics in an effort to increase efficiency.
