Fourteen of the Territory’s Safe Schools were recertified ‘Safe’, as the schools’ facilities are found to still be prepared to appropriately handle the impact of any hazard, and the schools continue to promote a culture that encourages the health and well-being of students and staff.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development continues to urge the community to remain vigilant and support efforts to reduce the impact of Zika by eliminating potential breeding sites for mosquitoes.
Human Resource Managers, Office Managers and persons with responsibilities for occupational health and safety in the workplace are strongly encouraged to participate in the Occupational Health and Safety Training Seminar on Thursday, November 3 from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. at the Eileen L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College, Paraquita Bay.
