Officers from the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services have recommended the Project Uplift group support sessions offered exclusively for public officers.
The Deputy Governor’s Office is advising Heads of Department of the following areas to which public officers, who have not been assigned to one of the core departments/services that has been restored, can be reassigned temporarily
Public Officers, as a result of reduced power to the Central Administration Complex, which could not sustain Government’s server system fully, there will be a further delay in the processing of payroll for the end of September pay period.
His Excellency the Governor Mr. Augustus Jaspert, in consultation with the Premier of the Virgin Islands Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE and the Deputy Governor Mrs. Rosalie Adams, have decided to close all Government offices today, September 4 at 4:30 p.m.
His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Augustus Jaspert was sworn in as the 13th Governor of the Virgin Islands at the Swearing-in and Welcome Ceremony held on August 22.
The public is invited to view the Swearing-in and Welcome Ceremony for the 13th Governor of the Virgin Islands, Mr. Augustus Jaspert live on Government’s YouTube page and not on its facebook page as was previously announced.
