Director at the Public Works Department, Mr. Jeremy Hodge, has announced that the department’s Asphalt Plant has been officially commissioned.

The public is notified that a walking space will be constructed for pedestrians in the vicinity of Creque's Building to the foot of Joe's Hill from Monday, September 25.

The public is notified that works will commence at the Road Town Market Square to construct a bus shed and pull-off area for public transportation on September 4. 

Director of the Public Works Department Mr. Jeremy Hodge has stated that the final diagnostic checks are being conducted before the department’s asphalt plant can become operational.

Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye Rymer has stated that the Horsepath dip that has been a longstanding issue with motorists and residents is to be rectified.

The public is notified that excavation work will begin on Monday August 14 to Thursday August 17 at the corner of Sophie Bay Hill where concrete spilled on the road. 

Motorists are asked to proceed with caution in the Sophie Bay area of Tortola as works are in progress to reconstruct the guard rails and electrical wiring following an accident that occurred yesterday.

The public is notified that the portion of Blackburn Highway in the vicinity of the Alphonso Gas Station in Parham Town will be closed on Saturday, April  1 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. to facilitate a funeral.
