The Government of the Virgin Islands (GOVI) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to US$65,291,000 towards the cost of the CDB No. 12/SRF-OR-BVI: Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Loan – Hurricane Irma Project (the Project) and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds to eligible payments under this contract.  

It gives me great pleasure this morning to witness and be a part of this Contract signing and Groundbreaking ceremony for the Joint Marine Shore Base Building. We can all agree that this project is another one that is well overdue. 

Re-Development Of The Elmore Stoutt High School (Eshs) Campus

Invitation For Pre-Qualification Of Contractors

The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Recovery and Development Agency (RDA), will be signing two contracts for the Redevelopment of the Elmore Stoutt High School campus tomorrow.

The public is informed that major road works continue on the Long Trench/Johnson’s Ghut Road Rehabilitation Project.

The United Kingdom through the Governor’s Office is stepping up its commitment to supporting a greener BVI.

The public is invited to a meeting to discuss the Fish Bay Road Rehabilitation Project on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 5:30 p.m.

The public is hereby informed that the Johnson’s Ghut/Long Trench road will be closed to facilitate a concrete pour on Sunday, November 7, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Works commenced today, November 1 on the Fish Bay Road Rehabilitation Project.  Phase one consists of the building of the by-pass road to allow for the continuation of traffic and to reduce traffic disruption during the execution of this project.

The Public is notified of asphaltic works at Lower Fort Hill on Friday, October 29 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 30 from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
