The public is informed that the Department of Motor Vehicles is closed for the remainder of the day, effective immediately.

In responding to a news release by BVI Airways on July 4, Premier and Minister of Finance said, “the Government has fully discharged its responsibility to BVI Airways by providing $7M as a subsidy in keeping with the terms of the agreement.”

The owners of derelict and possibly abandoned vessels moored in the Sea Cow’s Bay Harbour, are asked to have them removed as soon as possible.
