The International Tax Authority (ITA) advises Registered Agents that Economic Substance (ES) filing requirements will transition from the Beneficial Ownership Secure Search System (BOSSs) to the new VIRRGIN ES portal. Filings due in December 2025 (covering financial periods ending in July 2025) will be the last submissions made in the BOSSs portal. A short transition period may affect December filings, so Registered Agents with ES information available are encouraged to file early to avoid delays. Going forward, filings for financial periods ending after July 2025 will be completed in the VIRRGIN ES portal. Final closing dates for BOSSs and opening dates for VIRRGIN will be confirmed shortly. For questions or concerns, please contact the ITA.
