The Lands Unit of the Lands and Survey Department commonly known as Land Registry, will be closed to the public from Thursday, July 31 to Friday, August 8. 

The public is also notified that the last day for submission of documents for Registration is Monday, July 28 and the last opened day to the public will be Wednesday, July 30.

The department will resume partial services on Monday, August 11 until Friday, August 15, with full services resuming on Monday, August 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

This closure is necessary to facilitate the department’s move from its current location on the ground floor of the HR Penn Building (below Alphonso Warner Insurance Agency) to the new premises on the ground floor of the Luna Tower (Wheatley’s building) located between Clovers and Said Department Store. 

This period will also allow for remediation and cleaning of the physical files and land registers prior to relocating to the new premises.
