Public Invited To 42nd BVI-USVI Friendship Day Celebrations

This year’s activities will be held under the theme, “The Greater Virgin Islands: The Identity and Ingenuity of Our People.”

Public Officers Encouraged To Participate In EAP Awareness Week

Sea Access At Burt Point Temporarily Closed

The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing boat owners that the ramp at Burt Point has been temporarily removed, prohibiting boat access to the sea from that location.

The purpose of the ramp removal is to facilitate the implementation of the final stage of the Road Town sewerage force main connection line. The work is expected to be ongoing for four days, after which the boat ramp will be fully reinstated. The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for the inconvenience caused and advises boat owners to access the sea at alternate locations.

Interrupted Water Supply – Road Town

The Water and Sewerage Department is advising the general public, especially customers in the Road Town area that there will be an interruption in their water supply today, Friday, October 16.

The reason for this interruption is to allow technicians to identify a possible leak in the distribution system.  Affected areas include:
