The Government of the Virgin Islands (GoVI) currently holds fifteen standard loans with four creditors: three domestic (CIBC Caribbean, Republic Bank, and the Social Security Board) and one external (Caribbean Development Bank). Domestic debt totals $71.77 million (47.1% of total debt), while external debt with CDB accounts for $80.49 million (52.9%). Most of the debt (79.2%, or $120.62 million) carries floating interest rates, primarily with SSB, CIBC, and CDB, while the remaining 20.8% ($31.64 million) is fixed-rate debt held across all creditors.

The vision for a modern cruise pier did not belong to any single government. It was built over time, by leaders who understood that when it comes to building our country, the work must continue regardless of who holds the mantle.

The Government of the Virgin Islands invites tenders for the rental and operation of a 20-ton dozer at the Pockwood Pond and Virgin Gorda dumpsites for up to 30 days. The equipment must operate at least 8 hours daily, with immediate replacements provided if needed. Tenderers must prove possession of the equipment and trained personnel based in the BVI, provide details of relevant experience, and submit valid Certificates of Good Standing and a 2025 trade license if applicable. Prices must be quoted in US dollars. Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on June 30, 2025, to the Department of Waste Management office at the Union Property Building. The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) invites firms to submit proposals for Consultancy Services for Engineering Design and Construction Management of Water Mains and Civil Works for the Farmers' Reservoir at Paraquita Bay, Tortola. The procurement will follow the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) process. A site visit is scheduled for January 23, 2025, and the submission deadline is February 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The RDA reserves the right to cancel the notice without incurring costs for the firms.
