Residents of Anegada are advised that water service will be temporarily interrupted tonight from 9:00p.m until 5:30a.m on Friday, 12th December. This outage is necessary to address a leaking pipe and to allow for the refilling of the reservoir.

The Environmental Health Division will host four Food Handlers Training courses in March. The first session will be virtual on March 11 at 9:00 a.m. via WebEx, and participants must register using the provided link. In-person sessions will be held on March 19 at the Anegada Community Centre at 9:30 a.m., March 25 at Elmore Stoutt High School at 4:45 p.m., and March 27 at St. Mary’s Church Hall on Virgin Gorda at 9:30 a.m. Attendees should bring materials for note-taking, and renewing food handlers must present their food handler’s card and ID. New food handlers must bring a passport-sized photo, social security card, and ID.

The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) invites firms to submit proposals for Consultancy Services for Engineering Design and Construction Management of Water Mains and Civil Works for the Farmers' Reservoir at Paraquita Bay, Tortola. The procurement will follow the Quality and Cost-Based Selection (QCBS) process. A site visit is scheduled for January 23, 2025, and the submission deadline is February 21, 2025, at 4:00 PM. The RDA reserves the right to cancel the notice without incurring costs for the firms.

The public is notified that road rehabilitation works will begin in Diamond Estate beginning on Saturday 11th April 2026. Works will commence from the junction leading to Brewers Bay for approximately nine-hundred (900) linear feet heading towards Meyers at 8:30a.m.
