His Excellency the Governor Daniel Pruce chaired the meeting held on 15th April, 2026. All Members were present, with the exception of the Minister for Communications and Works and the Attorney General, who were absent on official duty. The Chief Parliamentary Council attended the meeting on behalf of the Attorney General.

Statement from the National Security Council - 27th October 2025
The National Security Council (NSC) convened a special meeting this afternoon under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Daniel Pruce, in light of the prison outbreak at His Majesty’s Prison, Balsam Ghut on Saturday evening during which two inmates were discovered missing namely, Jose´ Almestica and John Burgos, both U.S. Virgin Islands residents.

Traffic Disruption on Lloyd Road June12
The public is advised that there will be a temporary disruption to traffic on Lloyd Road on Thursday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to accommodate an activity by Flow BVI. Normal traffic flow will resume at 1:30 p.m. Motorists are encouraged to follow all traffic signs and use alternate routes as needed. The Ministry apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
