The House of Assembly (HoA) of the Virgin Islands is set to establish the Parliamentary Commission for Standards. This independent body will maintain standards of conduct for House of Assembly Members.

The role of the Commission will be to:

Promote standards of conduct for Members
Independently investigate complaints
Advise the public
Impose sanctions or recommend serious ones.
