The Ministry of Health and Social Development is inviting applications from qualified individuals interested in serving as Members of the Parole Board.

The Parole Board, established under the Parole Act, 2009 and the Parole (Amendment) Act, 2014, is responsible for advising the Governor and the Minister on matters related to the release of prisoners on licence and other related issues within the parole system. 

Members are appointed by the Governor with the approval of Cabinet and may serve for a period of up to three years, with eligibility for reappointment. 

The Ministry encourages individuals with experience in areas such as law, psychology, psychiatry, social work, counselling, rehabilitation, or community service to apply. Applicants must reside in the Virgin Islands and be willing to actively contribute to the work of the Board.
