Bulletin - Attention LMS Users: Sub-Standard Uploads Will be Automatically Rejected
Bulletin
Release Date: 2 July, 2026

The Department of Labour and Workforce Development is informing users of the Labour Management System that the department is now enforcing strict universal standards for all system uploads. Leniency for poor-quality files is ending immediately to ensure faster digital processing and compliance with the 2010 Labour Code.

LMS Users are reminded to match these benchmarks to avoid automatic rejection:

  • Applicant Photos: Official BVI/UK Passport size only (35mm x 45mm, plain background, sharp focus, neutral expression). No cropped, blurry, or enlarged selfies!
  • Documents (Passport, Licences, Permits): Official scanned PDFs ONLY. No casual camera pictures of paperwork. Keep hands and fingers completely out of the shot.

Tip: Use free apps like Adobe Scan or smartphone's built-in document scanner to create perfect PDFs instantly. Do it right the first time.
