Motorists traveling from West End to Road Town are encouraged to traverse through Carrot Bay or take the road from Towers over the hill to Cox Heath. Motorists traveling from Road Town to West End are also encouraged to travel through Carrot Bay on the coast road to avoid delays in traffic that can occur if they also travel over the hill in Towers through Cox Heath.

The Cox Heath bypass road is a one-way road heading eastward, and is more challenging to traverse in the current weather conditions, only a limited number of vehicles may be able to pass on it. Delays can be expected.

This phase of concrete paving is expected to be completed by Monday 7th, September, after which, another portion of paving will begin. The motoring public is encouraged to adhere to the directions of all personnel controlling traffic flow.

The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconvenience caused during the construction period.
