The Government of the Virgin Islands, acting through the Ministry of Health and Social Development, is inviting tenders from locally based automobile dealers for the supply of a vehicle for the 911 Operation Command Centre in Road Town, Tortola.

The procurement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen emergency response capabilities within the Territory. The vehicle will be assigned to the 911 Operation Command Centre, located at the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital, and will support the effective coordination and delivery of emergency services.

The tender is open to all eligible local automobile dealers and includes the supply of a vehicle that meets the technical specifications outlined by the Ministry. These include a 2025–2026 model vehicle with automatic transmission, four-wheel drive capability, seating for five persons, and safety and operational features such as a backup camera, parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity, and power windows.

Interested tenderers are required to submit a completed Form of Tender and Technical Specification, along with valid Certificates of Good Standing from the Social Security Board, National Health Insurance, and the Inland Revenue Department, as well as a valid trade licence.

Tenders must be submitted in hard copy to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health and Social Development, at Voronica’s House of Commerce, Road Town, Tortola. All submissions must be clearly marked “Supply of a Vehicle for the 911 Operation Command Centre in Road Town, Tortola, Virgin Islands.”

The deadline for submission is 10:00 a.m. on March 3, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.

The Ministry encourages all qualified local automobile dealers to participate in this competitive bidding process, which is being conducted in accordance with the laws of the Virgin Islands to ensure transparency and value for money.
