The public and, particularly residents and motorists in the upper Johnson Ghut/Long Trench area, are notified of the road cutting and culvert pipe installation will commence on Sunday 25th 2026 between the hours of 9:00a.m and 12 noon.

As a result, Blunt Road will be closed for the duration of the work period on Sunday. On Monday 26th October to Wednesday 28th October, there will be one lane traffic on Blunt Road while the works are completed. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and follow all traffic signs and personnel while traversing the area.

Provisions will be in place for emergency vehicle access. The Ministry of Communication and Works apologises for any inconvenience that may be caused. Further notices will be forthcoming as the works progress.
