Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley, is away from the Territory from Thursday, 20th August to Wednesday, 2nd September, 2026.

Premier Wheatley is leading a high-level financial services trade mission to India during that period.

Deputy Premier, Honourable Julian Fraser, has been authorised to perform the functions conferred on the Premier during the Premier’s absence from The Virgin Islands, with effect from the 20th day of August 2026 until the 2nd day of September 2026.

Honourable Fraser’s appointment is in accordance with Section 55(1) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007.
