The public is notified that due to forecasted inclement weather this weekend, the main road of Manchester rehabilitation works will now commence on Monday, August 18 for a period of one (1) week for the construction of a new concrete road pavement.  

Motorists are advised to use the Belle Vue, Fort Hill road or the Johnson Ghut road as through traffic will not be accessible. Residents who live in the area of the works are advised that localised access will be made available as best as possible.

The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconveniences that may be caused as a result of the road closure as works continue to upgrade the road infrastructure throughout the Territory.
