Organisation:
The Government of the Virgin Islands, through the Ministry of Health and Social Development, is inviting applications from suitably qualified individuals to serve as Members of the Non-Profit Organisation Registration Board.
The Board was established under the Non-Profit Organisations Act, 2012 and is responsible for evaluating and registering non-profit organisations, reviewing financial statements and reports, facilitating the development of the non-profit sector, promoting understanding of the role of non-profit organisations, and investigating related complaints.
Up to seven members may be appointed to the Board, in accordance with the Act, including representatives from the non-profit sector, the private sector, and nominees in keeping with statutory requirements. Members, other than ex officio members, will serve for a term of up to three years and may be eligible for reappointment.
Persons interested in serving should demonstrate integrity, sound judgement, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to good governance. Applicants must also be active members of a registered non-profit organisation and willing to actively contribute to the work of the Board.
Interested individuals are required to submit a Letter of Interest and a Résumé or Curriculum Vitae to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health and Social Development, by 23rd January, 2026. Applications may be submitted via email to ministryofhealth@gov.vg.
