The Government of the Virgin Islands is informing the public that from Friday, May 29, the International Tax Authority office of the Ministry of Finance is re-locating to the second floor of the Omar Hodge Building in Road Town by the roundabout.
BVI Finance has announced that the BVI Financial Services Commission has introduced the Incubator Fund and the Approved Fund to further establish the Territory’s reputation as a flexible, innovative and cost-effective jurisdiction for new fund launches.

It is also reflective of the vision of the Virgin Islands Comprehensive Disaster Management Strategy, to support safe, healthy and green communities as a means of building community resiliency in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).

Premier and Minister for Tourism, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE continues to offer strong support and encouragement to the BVI National Culinary Team who are preparing to participate in the upcoming Taste of The Caribbean Competition in Miami from June 11 to June 15.
Awareness activities and events will be held throughout this month and will continue until the end of this year, as the Territory marks the 25th anniversary of Environment Month.
Persons residing legally in the Territory now have access to health care services at the lower category of fees following the amendment of the Hospital Regulations, 2015 by Minister of Health and Social Development, Honourable Ronnie W. Skelton.

The Environmental Health Division is notifying the public that service dogs are now allowed at food establishments.
Chief Environmental Health Officer, Mr. Carnel Smith said a review was done on a decision taken by the department, to restrict the harboring of pets in all food establishments. He said the division has since made the decision to allow service dogs to accompany the disabled master to restaurants in the Territory.
