The Sister Islands Programme Unit coordinates Government activities on the Sister Islands to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved. It monitors, promotes and facilitates the execution of projects designed to bring about sustained improvement in the quantity, quality and delivery of Government services. The Unit also makes recommendations for programmes and projects to improve the delivery of services on the Sister Islands to ensure an acceptable standard of living.

• Coordination of Government Activities
Facilitates and manages the execution of Government projects and initiatives to ensure that departmental goals are consistently achieved across the Sister Islands.
• Advocacy
Identifies service gaps and recommends programmes and initiatives aimed at improving Government service delivery aimed at enhancing the standard of living for residents.
• Communication and Public Relations
Serves as a point of contact for official inquiries, ensuring effective communication between Ministries, Departments, and the general public.
• Monitoring and Reporting
Oversees the implementation of services and projects, and prepares regular reports to inform management and support strategic planning.
Sister Islands Programme Coordinator
The Sister Islands Programme Coordinator functions as the Itinerant Administrator for the Sister Islands and acts as a vital liaison between the Office of the Deputy Governor and the District Officers. The Coordinator ensures efficient communication and seamless coordination of Government activities across the islands.

District Officers are responsible for the local execution of Government initiatives, maintaining high standards of service delivery and ensuring that departmental objectives are met in a competent and timely manner.
