The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sustainable Development is pleased to announce that the Virgin Islands Tourism Summit ‘26 is scheduled to take place 10 and 11 June, 2026.
The public is notified that there will be interruptions of the traffic flow on the following roadways on Saturday, July 26 between 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The public is notified that a portion of Main Street in the vicinity of the Little Denmark Building to the Midtown Restaurant will be closed on Sunday 26th April 2026 from 8:00a.m to 1:00p.m. The reason for the closure is to facilitate the clearing of branches and trees from the electrical and telecommunication lines at the J.S Archibald & Co Barristers & Solicitors property.
On 28 June, 2026, Junior Minister for Financial Services, Economic Development and Digital Transformation, Honourable Lorna G. Smith, OBE, congratulated 26 entrepreneurs and business owners who successfully completed the Entrepreneurial Education Programme, a training initiative hosted by the Department of Trade in collaboration with the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) - designed to strengthen business planning, marketing, financial management and operational skills.
The public is notified that a portion of Station Avenue in the vicinity of the Road Town Police Station to the entrance of Palm Road (John’s Hole) will be closed on Thursday 25th September from 8:30a.m. to 12 noon, and on Friday 26th September from 8a.m. to 5:00p.m.
The public is notified that a portion of Main Street in the vicinity of the Road Town Methodist Burial Grounds to the St. George’s Anglican Church will be closed on Friday 26th September from 10:30a.m. to 12:30p.m.
The public is notified that the Public Works Department will begin road resurfacing works on Fort Hill and along the Ridge Road in the vicinity of Matcha’s Bar to the Upper Room Church. The works are scheduled to be conducted for a period of fourteen (14) days, from 26th May through 8th June 2026. During this period, the road will be closed to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands held a meeting on 12th February 2025, chaired by His Excellency the Governor, Mr. Daniel Pruce, at the Premier's Conference Room. All Cabinet Members were in attendance.
