The Department of Disaster Management encourages residents to become familiar with the 2026 Land Based Emergency Shelter List available on gov.vg and www.bviddm.com. 

The public is reminded that individual shelters are activated as needed, so it is important to follow updates from the Department of Disaster Management or monitor local radio if a hazard threatens or impacts the Territory.
