The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries advises that the Abattoir at Paraquita Bay remains without water.

While the Department of Water and Sewerage has yet to resolve the water woes affecting the Paraquita Bay area, the Abattoir is experiencing separate internal challenges that continue to impact its water supply. The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries is actively addressing these issues and prioritising the restoration of services.

Farmers who require abattoir services are asked to exercise patience during this time.
