The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries advises that the cistern challenges at the Paraquita Bay Abattoir have been resolved. The abattoir is open for business.

While water-supply issues in the Paraquita Bay area continue, operations at the abattoir have resumed. If public water-supply challenges persist beyond the Department’s ability to sustain services, customers will be promptly informed of any service interruption.
