Press Release
Release Date: 8 June, 2026
Operating in Ward and Burhym Buildings in Road Town
The Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs is reminding the public that it has relocated to the Ward Building on James Walter Francis Drive in Road Town, Tortola.
At this time, elevator services at the Ward Building are currently out of services. To ensure the department remains easily accessible while the elevator is down, a temporary service outlet has been opened at the Customer Services Care Centre in the Burhym Building on DeCastro Street, opposite Bobby’s Supermarket.
The temporary outlet will assist customers with trade licence renewals and the drop-off of new trade licence applications.
Members of the public who require other services from the Department may continue to visit the main office at the Ward Building. The Department apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the public for its patience and understanding while elevator services are being restored.
For more information, persons may contact the Department of Trade, Investment Promotion and Consumer Affairs at 468-2008 or via email at bvitrade@gov.vg.
