The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports is observing National School Counsellors Week 2026 from February 2nd- 6th under the theme “School Counsellors: Amplifying Student Success.”

School counsellors play a vital role in supporting students’ academic achievement, emotional wellbeing and personal development. Their work helps to create safe, supportive learning environments where students can thrive.

The Ministry encourages students, parents, educators and the wider community to recognise and appreciate the dedication and impact of school counsellors across the Territory.
