The Government of The Virgin Islands has announced targeted reductions in port-related fees to support the business community and ease the cost of goods. 

Effective May 2026 for a three-month period, wharfage has been reduced from 2% to 1%, and container fees from $300 to $150. 

These measures are intended to lower operational costs for businesses, with the expectation that savings will be passed on to consumers through more stable pricing across the Territory.
