Greetings Residents,

On behalf of the Members, staff, and myself, I extend heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Emogene A. Creque.

Mrs. Creque made history in 1965 when she became the first female member of the Legislative Council, appointed as a temporary member for Honourable Joseph R. O’Neal.  

As a staunch business woman, her legacy is deeply woven into the fabric of our community. 

We mourn her passing and honour her lasting contributions to our community and to the people of the Virgin Islands.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
