The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the execution of critical infrastructure works under the MacNamara Development Project. The scope of works includes demolition, excavation, drainage construction, and road rehabilitation aimed at improving public access and enhancing community resilience in the MacNamara area of Tortola.

The project will involve the demolition of the existing road from the Sea View main road junction to the MacNamara bypass road junction, construction of drainage and curb walls, reconstruction of the existing bridge, and associated excavation, backfilling, and utility facilitation works. These upgrades are part of the Government’s broader commitment to strengthening infrastructure and supporting sustainable community development.

Interested tenderers must submit a completed Form of Tender, priced Bill of Quantities, and supporting documentation demonstrating relevant experience, organizational structure, and compliance with statutory requirements. Specific eligibility criteria and submission instructions are outlined in the tender documents.

Tender documents are available upon request via email to procurement@gov.vg with the subject line “Road Rehabilitation at MacNamara.” A virtual pre-tender meeting will be held on Wednesday, 3rd December 2025 at 10:00 a.m. local time. While not mandatory, attendance is encouraged to ensure full understanding of the project scope and conditions.

Tenders must be submitted by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 13th January 2026, and will be publicly opened at 11:00 a.m. the same day via WebEx. Access credentials will be provided to all participating tenderers.

The Government of the Virgin Islands does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any other tender and will not defray any costs incurred by tenderers.
