You can submit a Notice of Objection if you:

  • are qualified to be included on the provisional or preliminary list of voters;
  • are already included on that list; and
  • are objecting to the inclusion of another person on the voters list for the relevant electoral district.

To complete the Notice of Objection, you will need to provide:

  • your full name;
  • your occupation;
  • whether the objection relates to the provisional or preliminary list of voters;
  • the electoral district in which you are registered;
  • the name of the person whose inclusion you are objecting to; and
  • the reason you believe that person is disqualified from being included on the voters list.

You must also sign and date the form.

When submitting a Notice of Objection, you must also complete the Applicant Personal Information Form.

Complete the Applicant Personal Information Form

Submit the Applicant Personal Information Form together with your Notice of Objection.

  1. Complete Form No. 4 – Notice of Objection.
  2. Indicate whether your objection relates to the provisional or preliminary list of voters.
  3. Enter the electoral district in which you are registered.
  4. Provide the name of the person whose inclusion you are objecting to.
  5. Clearly state why you believe that person is disqualified from being included on the voters list.
  6. Sign and date the form.
  7. Complete the Applicant Personal Information Form.
  8. Submit both forms to the Office of the Supervisor of Elections.

If the information about you is incorrect

Do not use the Notice of Objection to request a correction to your own information on the voters list.

If your own name, address or occupation has been omitted or recorded incorrectly, use the Notice of Claim service instead.
