Register to Vote in the Virgin Islands

You may apply to register as a voter if you:
- are a Belonger as defined under section 2(2) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order, 2007;
- are 18 years of age or older;
- are domiciled in the Virgin Islands;
- are not disqualified from being registered as a voter under the laws of the Virgin Islands; and
- are not already registered to vote in the Virgin Islands.

You will need to provide one of the following documents to support your application:
- Virgin Islands Passport with embossed seal;
- Belonger Card;
- Belonger Certificate; or
- Naturalisation Certificate dated before 15 June 2007.

You must complete the Applicant Personal Information Form and submit it with this form.

How to Apply
- Download and complete the Application for Registration as a Voter
- Provide the required supporting document.
- Sign the declaration on the application form.
- Have your declaration witnessed by an authorised person.
- Submit the completed application and supporting documents to the Office of the Supervisor of Elections.

Who can witness your application
Your application may be witnessed by an authorised person such as a:
- Commissioner for Oaths;
- Justice of the Peace;
- Virgin Islands registered legal practitioner;
- Notary Public;
- Minister of religion;
- Virgin Islands registered medical practitioner;
- member of the teaching staff of a university or higher educational institution;
- bank manager;
- postmaster;
- commissioned police officer;
- public officer of the rank of Senior Executive Officer or above; or
- senior officer of a statutory body of an equivalent rank.

Completed applications may be submitted through the Office of the Supervisor of Elections.

If you have moved
If you are already registered to vote and have moved to another electoral district or polling division, do not use this form to register again. You should instead apply to Transfer Your Voter Registration.
