When completing the online request, you will be asked to provide information about:
Application information
- Applicant's name
- Applicant's position in the company
- Representing firm
- Representing firm's contact email
- Representing firm's address
Company information
- Company name
- BVI Company Registration Number
- Date of dissolution
- Reason for dissolution
- Company status upon restoration
- Reason for restoration
Asset information
You will need to provide details of any assets held by the company, including:
- Type of asset (multiple asset types may be selected)
- Location of each asset
- Description of each asset
- Estimated value of each asset
Depending on the asset types selected, you may be asked to provide additional supporting documentation.

How to submit a Consent to Restore Request
Step 1: Access the Company Restoration Portal
Open the Online Application Form
Step 2: Select the application type
Begin by selecting the appropriate Type of Application from the available options.
The portal currently supports applications relating to company restoration under the relevant provisions of the BVI Business Companies Act.
Step 3: Complete the application
Complete each section of the online form, including:
- Application Information
- Company Information
- Asset Information
Ensure all required fields are completed accurately before continuing.
Step 4: Upload supporting documents
Upload all required supporting documents.
Where applicable, upload any additional documentation requested based on the assets identified in your application.
Step 5: Review and submit
Review all information carefully before submitting your request.
Once submitted, retain any confirmation or reference number provided by the portal for future correspondence.

The portal allows you to upload supporting documentation, including:
- Company Register of Members
- Company Register of Directors
- Letter of Request
- Other supporting documents
If your application includes specific asset types, the portal will request additional documents relevant to those assets. For example, real estate claims may require title deeds or property registration documents, while court claims may require copies of filed court documents.

Important information about email submissions
From 31 July 2026, Consent to Restore Requests submitted to the restoration email address will not be processed. Applicants who submit these requests by email will be directed to use the Company Restoration Portal instead.
This change applies only to Consent to Restore Requests.
The following should not be submitted through the Company Restoration Portal:
- Sealed court orders
- Court applications
- General restoration-related correspondence
- General restoration-related enquiries
These documents and enquiries should continue to be submitted by email to restorationsbvi@gov.vg.
