The Department of Disaster Management (DDM) encourages residents of the Virgin Islands to join the annual earthquake and tsunami exercise Caribe Wave on March 23.

The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that the Bill entitled, Police Act, 2023 is now available for review on the Virgin Islands Official Gazette website at https://eservices.gov.vg/gazette/.
Residents of Jost Van Dyke and Anegada are notified that officers from the Department of Motor Vehicles will visit the islands to inspect and licence motor vehicles, administer drivers’ written tests, and renew and issue learner’s permits on the following dates from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The public is informed that the Governor’s Office will temporarily close for a staff event from 1:00 p.m. on February 3 and will resume regular office hours on Monday February 6.
Residents and businesses along Drake’s Highway from Nanny Cay to the BVI Electricity Corporation in Pockwood Pond are notified that the public water service will be temporarily interrupted on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
The public is advised that a portion of Drakes Highway in the vicinity of the reclaimed land in Pockwood Pond and GroundWorks will be closed on Thursday, February 2 and Friday, February 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily to facilitate a waterline extension project.
Customers of the Water and Sewerage Department are advised that collections on Tortola will be partially interrupted on Friday, February 3, from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Services will resume at 1:00 p.m.
The public is advised that a portion of Main Street in the vicinity of the Road Town Seventh Day Adventist Church will be closed on Tuesday, January 31 from 8:00 a.m. to noon.
