The Conservation and Fisheries Department is encouraging the public to attend a special International Fisherman’s Day Church Service on Sunday, July 5, at the New Testament Church of God International Worship Centre off the Blackburn Highway, Baugher's Bay.

The church service begins at 9:00 a.m. and is a celebration of local fisherfolk for their work in the preservation of the historically and culturally significant industry, as well as a time for many persons within the community to meet and socialise with local fisherfolk.
