Mr. Keith Flax, Ag. Managing Director, BVI Airports Authority, on behalf of the Board of Directors hereby informs the travelling public that effective today, 19 January, 2022:   

1)  the daily, Operational Hours of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport, (the Airport), have again been extended and will be:  7:00am to 9:00pm

and that,

2)   the Airport will continue to operate on a PPR basis for all other flights, excepting cargo and medical flights

The extending of the operational hours is consequent to the number of staff afflicted with the COVID-19 virus having plateaued.   

Mr. Flax, whilst assuring the travelling public that:

• the BVI Airports Authority stands committed with the Government of the Virgin Islands in its fight against the COVID-19 Virus,
• apologizes for any inconvenience previously caused, and thanks them for their continued cooperation in ensuring that Safety, which is Our No. 1 Priority is maintained.
